Here's what you can expect from each session type so you can decide what feels right for you and your pet.
The studio is a converted garage in Bradbury, set up specifically for pet photography. It's cosy, home-based, and built to handle the reality of photographing animals, which means it's relaxed, easy to clean, and not precious about anything.
There's easy parking out front and level access throughout, so it works well for anyone with mobility considerations, or pets who need a calm, unhurried arrival.
Inside you'll find a range of backdrop options including bright solid colours, classic textured neutrals, moody black, and clean white, along with a collection of ottomans and stools for posing. Professional studio lighting allows for everything from soft and natural to dramatic and creative, depending on the look you're after.
Sessions run 1 to 2 hours. Your pet sets the pace.
Family members are always welcome to join in for some shots. All pets from your household are also welcome, there are no additional fees to include everyone.

Outdoor sessions happen in the late afternoon to make the most of soft, golden hour light.
Location is flexible. If you have a favourite spot, we can work with that. If you'd prefer a suggestion, I'll recommend somewhere that suits your pet's personality and energy. I keep locations accessible and manageable, think parks, open spaces, and easy terrain rather than remote bush trails.
Weather is always a factor outdoors. If rain, strong winds, or temperatures over 30 degrees are forecast, a reschedule is no problem at all. I'll be in touch 24 hours before your session if the weather is looking sketchy.

In-home sessions are photographed in your own space, on your pet's terms. This option is particularly well suited to cats, senior pets, and any animal who is most comfortable on their own turf, though it's open to anyone who prefers this approach.
I bring my own professional lighting, so don't worry about whether your lounge room is Instagram-worthy. A small bedroom, a cluttered couch, an unremarkable backyard. I'll find the light and make it work.
The goal is photos that feel like your home and your pet, just at their absolute best.

Once you're booked in, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to my private session guide. It's a comprehensive guide covering everything you need to know to prepare, plus a short questionnaire that helps me get to know your pet before we even meet.
There's no rush to get straight into it. Your pet gets time to sniff, explore, and acclimatise at their own pace. No pressure, no hurry.
We'll have a brief check-in to ensure we are on the same page about what you hope to get from your session.
We go at your pet's pace, always. Sessions run 1 to 2 hours, and I wrap up naturally when I've got what I need.
The more relaxed and happy you are, the more your pet will follow suit. Sessions are unhurried and enjoyable, and that energy is all part of the happy memories we're creating together.
Your online gallery will be ready within approximately 10 days of your shoot. You'll receive a private link to browse and make your selections at your own pace.
If you'd like a hand going through your gallery, we can jump on a Zoom call and go through it together. Completely optional, but the offer is always there if you'd like it.
There's no sales session, no one hovering while you decide. Take your time, choose what you love, and get in touch when you're ready.
Ask away, I love talking about your pets. Give me a call, or drop me a DM before you commit to anything.
