No worries at all, most dogs don’t! I work with pets every single day, from high-energy zoomers to total wiggle machines. Your pet doesn’t need to “behave” or sit perfectly still. I use fast shutter speeds, gentle guidance, and plenty of patience to capture great photos, even if your dog is bouncing around like it’s Christmas morning.
Leashes can stay on the whole time and will be edited out like magic!

Shopping centre Santa photos are fast, noisy, busy and often stressful for pets, and they’re usually run by people with little to no pet-handling or photography experience.
A general “people” photographer may allow pets, but that’s very different to someone who specialises in them. Pets become an afterthought instead of the focus.

Casual, dressy, Christmas jumpers, matching PJs - anything goes. Neutrals always look great, but bold colours can look amazing too. The only thing I recommend avoiding is super-busy patterns or giant logos, because they can distract from your pet’s adorable face.

My studio sessions are private, quiet, and stress-free, with no other pets or people around.

Premium sessions are recommended as you are guaranteed not to see another dog, and they can stay on leash the whole time. I work at their pace, and I’ll never push them beyond their comfort zone.

Yes! Leashes can be edited out of your final images.
Safety comes first, I’d much rather your dog stay secure on a leash, and I remove it later if required

Absolutely! Bring your dog’s Christmas outfits, bandanas, accessories or any special items that show off their personality. Please ensure that you do a test fit at home and that your pet is comfortable with any outfit of accessories.
If you don’t have anything, no stress, I have Christmas props available in the studio too.

It’s a fun optional extra where I create one of this year’s trending Christmas pet photos - things like the candy cane and bauble halo or sparkly bokeh light frame.

These images are separate from your regular Christmas session and not included in your digital package unless you choose this add-on.

The viral scenes are super quick to set up and execute, totally optional, and can be added at the time of booking or on the day in the studio

Yes! Bribery is part of the game! I supply high-quality, single-ingredient treats. Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Fish and Kangaroo. I will ask as part of your booking questionnaire about dietary requirements to ensure your pet does not get offered anything it can't tolerate.

Cats, bunnies, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, snakes, small farm animals (chickens, baby goats etc) are all welcome!
